Physical Education & Sports Skills at the Sportsplex
Encouraging children to have an active, healthy, and social lifestyle through activities provided by licensed trainers.
Tuesdays from 1:30pm-3:30pm are for youth ages 12-16.
Classes for ages 12-16 are focused more on fitness and sports. Over the semester, we will learn how to properly use a fitness center & how to safely design personal workouts. For sports focus, we will play different sports & learn new games to stay active. Students will gain skills to live a fit & healthy lifestyle as they get older and more independent. There will also be opportunities for being active through free ice skating & swimming/pool time throughout the semester.
Thursdays from 1:00pm – 3:00pm are for youth ages 5-11 (Starting January 7th, 2020)
Introducing children, in a safe way, to physical health through a structured curriculum that offers:
*Aquatics (Learn to Swim/Water Play, Water Safety), *Fitness class & games, *Court/Turf/Ice (Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Ice Skating)
