Aquatics: Lifeguards
  • Basic Responsibilities:
  • • Responsible for the overall safety of all members/guests at the Aquatics Center
  • • Monitor designated areas and prevent unsafe situations from occurring
  • • Assist in maintaining the quality of the Aquatics Center by completing daily chemical checks and cleaning
  • • Respond appropriately to first aid or other potential emergency situations as needed
  • Requirements:
  • Potential Lifeguards should be able to complete the swim test.
  • Lifeguards should also possess the following:
  • • Valid American Red Cross Lifeguard certification (will be provided if certification is not currently held)
  • • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • • Ability to focus and stay alert for extended periods of time
  • • Ability to be proactive and prevent unsafe situations from occurring

Birthday Party & Snackbar
  • Basic Responsibilities:
  • • Decorate party room based off of the information sheet
  • • Clean up and tear down rooms after each party in a prompt manner
  • • Check in on party guests to ensure a good experience
  • • Keep the Snackbar stocked and clean
  • • Maintain health code standards in the Snackbar
  • • Make business transactions at the Snackbar
  • Requirements:
  • • Good customer service skills
  • • Good multitasking skills
  • • Able to count money and make proper change
  • • Must be able to work weekends
  • • Must be physically able to move tables, chairs, and boxes
  • • Previous experience in customer service and/or food service is a plus

Customer Service
  • Basic Responsibilities:
  • • Assist members with various questions concerning the facility and/or services provided
  • • Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or take messages
  • • Keep updated records and files and enter data promptly and efficiently
  • • Process cash and credit payments rapidly and accurately.
  • • Effectively communicate with both customers and management to maintain excellent customer service.
  • Requirements:
  • • Be able to work weekday evenings and weekends.
  • • High School diploma or GED required; Associated Degree preferred.
  • • Knowledge and experience with use of cash register and computers
  • • Customer service experience and strong communication skills
  • • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities

Fitness: Personal Trainers
  • Basic Responsibilities:
  • • Set up consults and personal training sessions
  • • Maintain a level of professionalism when dealing with all current and potential clients
  • • Remaining up to date on certifications and continuing education
  • • Keeping track of all appointments and transactions made for training
  • • The ability to stay prompt on all appointments
  • Requirements:
  • • High School diploma or GED required; College Degree preferred.
  • • CRP certified
  • • National accredited Personal Training certification
  • • 2 years of personal training experience preferred
  • • Customer service experience
  • • Strong communication skills

  • Basic Responsibilities:
  • • Care for children from 6 weeks old to 12 years old
  • • Provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment
  • • Work cooperatively with others effectively, efficiently, and enthusiastically
  • • Keep a clean and tidy space during and after a shift
  • Requirements:
  • • Can work during the week (morning and/or evening shifts) as well as on Saturday mornings
  • • Prior experience working with children
  • • CPR/ First-aid Certification preferred

  • Basic Responsibilities:
  • • Awareness of the safety and wellbeing of children in different Sportsplex venues
  • • Provide a structured, nurturing, and fun recreational environment for children

  • Requirements:
  • • Must be able to work during the week

Maintenance
  • Basic Responsibilities:
  • • Involves general cleaning and maintenance procedures for all areas in the facilities
  • • Deeper cleaning performed after close in areas such as showers, bathrooms, and change areas
  • Requirements:
  • • Must be able to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights until 11:00pm. Additional weekday evenings can be added if availability allows for it, but not required
  • • Must be able to operate power washer, floor machine, and other cleaning equipment

Ice Rink: Skate Guards
  • Basic Responsibilities:
  • • Provide on-ice supervision and can ice skate
  • • Involves general cleaning and maintenance procedures for ice rink areas
  • • Deeper cleaning performed in hockey locker rooms
  • • Can put away and organize ice skates after a rental or Public Skate
  • Requirements:
  • • Must be able to work during Public Skate hours, which includes weekends and holiday
  • • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • • Excellent work ethic
