Physical Education & Sports Skills at the Sportsplex

Encouraging children to have an active, healthy, and social lifestyle through activities provided by licensed trainers.

 

Semester 1
  • Semester 1 includes swimming, court/turf sports, skating, fitness, and more! The semester runs from August 26th-December 13th.
Semester 2
  • Semester 2 includes swimming, court/turf sports, fitness, skating, and more! The semester runs from January 6th-May 15th
Monthly
  • The monthly option allows for participants to customize their package. They may choose one specific month to participate.
We offer two different days for two age groups with different focus geared towards that age group.

 

Tuesdays from 1:30pm-3:30pm are for youth ages 12-16.

Classes for ages 12-16 are focused more on fitness and sports. Over the semester, we will learn how to properly use a fitness center & how to safely design personal workouts. For sports focus, we will play different sports & learn new games to stay active. Students will gain skills to live a fit & healthy lifestyle as they get older and more independent.  There will also be opportunities for being active through free ice skating & swimming/pool time throughout the semester.

 

Thursdays from 1:00pm – 3:00pm are for youth ages 5-11  (Starting January 7th, 2020)

Introducing children, in a safe way, to physical health through a structured curriculum that offers:
*Aquatics (Learn to Swim/Water Play, Water Safety), *Fitness class & games, *Court/Turf/Ice (Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Ice Skating)
