Liz is from Mesa, Arizona and recently relocated to Durham, NC. She has a passion for helping people achieve their fitness & nutrition goals, as well as developing more self confidence. Fun Fact: Liz loves to try new recipes which are a healthier twist on traditional favorites.

ARLENE PETERS

  • Specialties: Weight loss, Sport Conditioning, Strength Training, Neurological Deficits which include; Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s, and Traumatic Brain Injury

Arlene has been a consistent face of the Sportsplex over the past few years. With her background as a collegiate tennis athlete, along with her experience as a trainer and coach, she is excited to help Sportsplex members achieve their fitness goals.

Divine has a passion for strength training and is working towards a career in bodybuilding. He loves helping people achieve their fitness and strength goals. Divine loves working with kids and has worked in the Sportsplex KidsPlex programs.

STEVEN BELLAMY

Steven is from Durham, NC and grew up in Hillsborough, attending Orange High School. He is a former basketball player who enjoys coaching and personal training. He has a passion for helping people achieve their fitness goals.

Chase is a graduate of the local Orange High School. He loves to help people use fitness to improve their overall quality of life. Chase is our head youth soccer coach at the Sportsplex and has a passion for all sports.

LAURA WAGNER

  • AFAA Certified Personal Trainer
  • B.S. in Exercise Sport Science, Meredith College
  • Group Fitness Instructor: Indoor Cycle
  • Specialties: Endurance & Strength Conditioning, Pre/Post Knee Rehab

 

Laura is from Youngstown, OH. She loves seeing clients meet their goals and exceeding their own expectations of what they think they can do. Fun Fact: Laura enjoys competing half marathons and triathalons.

SPORT SPECIFIC TRAINING

Scott Green, Fitness Director and Sport Trainer

Coach Green comes to the Sportsplex after completing a Division I college playing and coaching career. He played college football at Western Carolina University and had coaching stops at Liberty University & Carson-Newman University.   He specializes in football and basketball, sport specific training, which includes strength & conditioning, speed & agility, and position specific drill work.
